DUSHANBE, June 30, 2016, Asia-Plus – A session of the Government of Tajikistan, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, took place on June 30.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the meeting approved new members of the Customs Service Board and endorsed the plan of actions for the second half of 2016 and the adult vocational education program designed for 2016-2020.

The government members also endorsed the draft laws on protection of competition, change and addenda to the law on state symbols of Tajikistan, change and addenda to the law on regulatory legal acts, change and addenda to the law on mail service, change and addenda to the law on licensing separate types of activity, change and addenda to the customs code.

They also approved government’s decisions regarding the draft laws on making amendments to the country’s laws on fighting terrorism and veterinary as well as the family code.  

Besides, the session participants discussed and approved government’s resolutions on the main directions of preparation of TV and radio programs for 2017-2021, municipal redevelopment plan for the administrative center of the Varzob district, etc.
