DUSHANBE, June 30, 2016, Asia-Plus – Dushanbe International Airport (DIA) has toughened security measures.

Only passengers with tickets are allowed to enter the terminal while those seeing off and meeting passengers are prohibited from entering the terminal.

It is still unknown how long this regime will last.

Meanwhile representatives of Dushanbe International Airport say the security measures have been toughened in connection with a terror act that occurred at Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport on June 28.  

We will recall that a triple suicide bombing and gun attack killed 42 people and wounded 239 people at Istanbul”s main airport.
