DUSHANBE, February 25, Asia-Plus  — A ceremonial meeting dedicated to mark the 15th anniversary of the formation of Tajik National Army was held at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe on February 23.  

According to presidential press service, speaking at the meeting, President Emomali Rahmon congratulated Tajik servicemen on their professional holiday and called on them to provide supremacy of law and consolidate national unity and patriotism.

The head of state pointed the necessity of improving living conditions of servicemen.  He charged the government to work out a long-term plan of construction of presidios and housing units for servicemen in 2009-2020, the presidential press service said.    

             On occasion of the 15th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Armed Force, President Rahmon bestowed government decorations on 11 servicemen.
