DUSHANBE, July 18, 2016, Asia-Plus – Chiefs of customs services of Tajikistan (Abdufattoh Ghoib), Russia (Andrey Belyaninov) and Kyrgyzstan (Azamat Suleymanov) have met in the Tajik northern city of Guliston to discuss cooperation, according to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.

The meeting participants reportedly discussed joint efforts to combat smuggling. They, in particular, discussed issues related to cooperation in exchanging information on prevention of commodity smuggling.

The sides also agreed to conduct joint operations and expand cooperation in investigating customs-related crimes, a source at the Customs Service of Tajikistan said.
