Police officers of Vahdat city have detained a gang of rustlers that harmed the residents of the various districts of the country in the amount of about 33 thousand somoni.

As reports the press center of Ministry of Internal Affairs, during the operative-investigative work police officers detained four young citizens (22 to 29 years) of Vahdat city, who are suspected of stealing cattle.

It is established that the suspected have kidnapped cattle in the amount of 4 thousand somoni in July this year from the pasture “Karatog” in Shahrinav district, owned by 79-year-old resident of the area.

After that, on the 12

th

of August this gang has already “worked” on the pastures of the Shurhoki village of Tursunzade city. Five head of cattle, belonging to 29-year-old resident of Tursunzade, was hijacked from there.

A day later, the same gang stole from the pasture of the same village three cows from a 30-year resident of Tursunzade.

The total value of the stolen cattle is 29 th. somoni.

According to the facts of this criminal case the investigation continues.
