DUSHANBE, August 16, 2016, Asia-Plus – Led by the First Deputy Finance Minister Jamshed Karimzoda, an inter-agency commission is currently working on developing parameters of the national budget for 2017 and the key indicators of the budget for 2018-2019, according to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) Secretariat.

The inter-agency commission for development of the national budget for 2017 has been set up in accordance with Article 30 of Tajikistan’s Law “On State Finances of the Republic of Tajikistan.”

The commission membership was reportedly endorsed by the MoF’s instruction of August 8, 2016 and its members include deputy ministers and senior officials of relevant ministries and agencies.

The commission develops and forecasts measures to ensure timely implementation of the revenue and expenditure parts of the national budget.
