EU to provide 300,000 euros to Tajik customs service for equipping its lab

            DUSHANBE, February 14, Asia-Plus  – The European Union (EU) will provide some 300,000 euros to Tajikistan’s Customs Service for purchasing equipment for the central custom lab for controlling goods being imported to the country.  

            Safol Mousoyev, the head of the central customs lab, told Asia-Plus that this aid is provided within the framework of the EU-supported project aimed at supporting development of the Tajik customs service. 

“We plan to purchase the state-of-the-art equipment for our laboratory, which is engaged in examining chemical and physical compositions all goods being imported to the republic,” the lab head said.  

            The mentioned project also includes organization of English course for Tajik customs officers, according to him.
