            DUSHANBE, February 11, Asia-Plus  — Despite electricity rationing introduced in Dushanbe on February 8, all main medical facilities functioning in the Tajik capital, including four maternity houses and hospitals, currently receive electricity supplies regularly.

Sherali Rahmatulloyev, the deputy head of the Dushanbe health directorate, told Asia-Plus that electricity rationing has affected just a number of polyclinics in the city.  “However, the polyclinics are provided with generators, which currently used,” Rahmatulloyev said.  

According to the Ministry of Health (MoH), there are 18 hospitals in Dushanbe, and they have totaling 44 generators.
