Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov has held a number of meetings with his counterparts from the CIS member nations in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek on the sidelines of a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS member nations, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
On September 15, Aslov met with his Uzbek counterpart Abdulaziz Komilov.
The two reportedly discussed a broad range of issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Aslov and Komilov also exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries in the framework of regional and international organizations.
On the same day, Aslov met with his Kyrgyz counterpart Erlan Abdyldayev.
They discussed political, economic and humanitarian cooperation between their countries as well as issues of expansion of legal foundation of cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The two also exchanged views on the border delineation issues and the current situation in the region, the source said.
