Coca-Cola Nushokihoi Tojikiston LLC (CCNT) denies report about the alleged administrative fine imposed by Migration Service Agency on CCNT, authored Zarina Ergasheva, which was posted on Asia-Plus’s website on November 24, as unfounded.
CCNT notes the report contains several incorrect and misleading statements, which it would like to refute.
“The article states that CCNT “has faced problems due to violation of migration laws in Tajikistan and a top manager of Coca-Cola in Tajikistan will have to pay a fine.” CCNT hereby emphasizes that, as it is also confirmed by the Migration Service Agency, the said visit was a regular check at CCNT’s office in Dushanbe. As a result of this check, no violations have been determined and CCNT have not been informed or notified by the Migration Service Agency of any decision regarding any fine or any kind of sanctions whatsoever.
“In the article, it was also stated that “Coca-Cola Tajikistan has confirmed the fact of violation of the law on migration, however refused to provide any further comments.” CCNT brings it to your notice that at the time of the publication of the article, the check was still ongoing and therefore our company could not possibly have confirmed or refuted any related information whatsoever. Besides, no fact of violation of the law by CCNT was confirmed at the end of the check. CCNT also declares that nobody contacted for any comments with CCNT General Director, who is currently the only official spokesperson of the company.”
