DUSHANBE, December 28, Asia-Plus  — On Thursday December 27, Education Minister Abdujabbor Rahmonov held a meeting with participation of chancellors of higher educational institutions of the country.

Rajabali Sangov, an official with the Ministry of Education (MoE), told Asia-Plus that the meeting focused on effects of a fire that broke out in a head building of Tajik Medical University on December 26.  

According to him, the minister called on chancellors to make contribution to restoration of Medical University’s building.  

Besides, during the meeting it was decided to send by turns students’ construction teams to clear the Medical University building, the MoE official said.  

It was also noted that that students at Medical University could temporarily use classes of vocational-technical school # 63 and Tajik Technical University for studying.
