Resident of the northern city of Isfara has got a lengthy jail term for brutally killing his wife.
The Sughd regional court sentenced Nozim Karimov, 45, to 20 years in prison on March 15, 2017. He is serving his term in a high-security penal colony.
“Being in a state of drunkenness, Karimov beat his 40-year-old wife, Muhayo Karimova, to death following family quarrel,” a source at the Sughd regional court told Asia-Plus in an interview.
