Newly appointed deputy chief of the Interior Ministry’s office in Ayni district (Sughd province), Ramazon Muhammadzoda, has not arrived in the place of destination.  A search operation for his body and his car is being carried out for already two days.

“Ramazon Muhammadzoda has gone to Ayni district in his Mercedes.  His documents were found on the bank of the river,” a source at the Interior Ministry told Asia-Plus in an interview.

The source says Ramazon Muhammadzoda, who had previously served as deputy chief of the Interior Ministry’s office in Khovaling district of Khatlon province, was appointed deputy chief of the Interior Ministry’s office in Ayni district at the beginning of this week and he was supposed to arrive in the new place of service on Wednesday.

According to the preliminary version, the car fell into the Fon-Daryo River near the village of Pete in Ayni district.  The search operation for the bodies of Ramazon Muhammadzoda and his two passengers has not yet yielded any results.

Names of the passengers have not yet been identified.  Meanwhile, Sughdnews, citing unofficial sources, reports that the passengers were parents of a doctor at the Dushanbe Cancer Center and they were going to the Bahoriston resort.
