Independent organizations providing assessment services in Tajikistan have joined the Association of Appraisers of Tajikistan. The presentation of the new public organization took place on Thursday, August 17, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dushanbe.
The association was established and formed by 5 independent appraisal companies with the technical support of the project for the development of the market for land use rights within the framework of the “Food for the Future” program.
The association includes such companies as "Ayten Group", "Baker Tilly Tajikistan", "Grant Thornton", "Creston", "BDO Consulting".
During the presentation, it was noted that the Association was created to ensure the interaction of organizations, providing assessment services in Tajikistan, in addressing the overall organizational, legal and technical issues arising in the activities of these organizations.
The Association also aims to protect and represent the common legitimate interests of independent appraisal companies to state bodies, Public and private organizations, institutions and enterprises, including foreign ones, as well as assisting the development of the industry in the provision of valuation services in the country.
Regarding the difference in the services of independent evaluation companies from state evaluation, the participants of the event noted that state evaluators protect state interests. Independent appraisers set a fair market value, recommending it to property owners.
Valuation activity is an entrepreneurial activity carried out by the subjects of valuation activities aimed at establishing in relation to objects of valuation of market or other value.
