The head of the Khorog airport, Dildor Maqsoudshoyev, 60, perished yesterday afternoon while seeing of President Emomali Rahmon at the airport in the Darvoz district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO).

“Strong airflow from propeller of president’s helicopter threw him to a nearby big stone and Maqsoudshoyev died on the way to a hospital,” a source at the Interior Ministry’s office in GBAO’s Darvoz district told Asia-Plus in an interview.
