Dushanbe, Seoul discuss labor migration cooperation

Issues related to signing of a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and South Korea on labor migration have been discussed here at a meeting of Tajik Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Azim Ibrohim, with Korean Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Lim Sung-nam, a source in the Tajik government told Asia-Plus in an interview.  

Korean official reportedly noted that the Korean government had set up a working group to study the mentioned agreement.  

Mr. Ibrohim, for his part, noted that Tajikistan was interested in attracting Korean investments in the country’s economy and launching joint ventures.

Both sides also pointed to the necessity of intensification of work of the Tajik-Korean joint commission foк trade and economic cooperation, the source said.
