Tajik nationals this year have reportedly got Uzbek entry visas more than others

The Uzbek Embassy in Dushanbe says the Consular Department of Uzbek Foreign Ministry and Uzbek consulates abroad have carried out 308,879 consular actions related to issuing foreign travel passports, entry visas, biometric passports, certificates for return to homeland, and so forth.  

The largest number of consular actions has reportedly been carried out by Uzbek embassies in Dushanbe – 55,938, Moscow (Russia) – 25,866, Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) – 17,005, Astana (Kazakhstan) – 16,381, Seoul (Korea) — 13,874, Berlin (Germany) – 13,376, Beijing (China) – 12,603, and New Delhi (India) – 11,925.  

Over the same nine-month period, Uzbek relevant agencies have issued 224,022 entry visas for foreign nationals (21 percent increase compared to the same period last year), including 96,752 tourist visas (24 percent increase) ad 32,898 business visas (27 percent increase), according to the Uzbek Embassy in Dushanbe.
