DUSHANBE, October 30, Asia-Plus  — The 2nd International Exhibition and Conference entitled “Tajikistan Infrastructure 2007” will be held in Dushanbe on November 21-23. 

Ms. Nazira Nazuriddinova, executive director of ITECA Osyo also manager of the InfoComExpo Tajikistan 2007 project, said in an interview with Asia-Plus that 45 companies from 20 countries, including Finland, Turkey, the United States, Germany, India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Belarus and others, are expected to participate at the exhibition. 

            The main sectors of the exhibition are: power and lighting; mining; and transport, transit and logistics.  

            In the power and lighting sector, the companies will put on display their achievements in electric and heat energy production, electric power conversion and storage, electric power transmission and distribution, alternative sources of electric power, nuclear power, industrial power, energy efficiency and energy saving technologies, electrical equipment; industrial ventilation systems, water treatment technologies and systems, etc. 

In the mining sector, they will display their achievements in mining machines and equipment, scooptrams and transport vehicles (elevator lifts, conveyer belts, underground loaders and trucks, mine electric locomotives),  open pit technology, auxiliary machines and equipment (compressors, diesel generators, underground refuellers, units for transport, rock breakers), etc.  

            The transport, transit and logistics sector is dedicated to road transport, maritime transport, air transport, railway transport, railroads: equipment and technical facilities, intermodal traffic, logistics, etc. 

According to her, the main objectives of the “Tajikistan Infrastructure 2007” are the following: attracting of new companies, investments, development of the international and internal economic relations, revelation of the region’s potential, promotion of the state programs into transport, energy, mining branches of Tajikistan, as well as: establishment of new business relations;  information on one’s existence; estimation of the competitiveness of the company; studying of business activity of the competitors; to enhance the prestige of commercial mark; to receive the more complete information on the market; and to sell the goods/services directly.

“Tajikistan Infrastructure 2007” is the unique concept, specially developed for the purposes of joining and strengthening on links between the manufacturers of the equipment, dealers, suppliers of goods and services and, directly, by the consumers and enterprises of industrial complexes in Tajikistan.
