DUSHANBE, October 24, Asia-Plus  — Tajik Education Minister Abdujabbor Rahmonov has left for Yerevan, Armenia to attend the 13th CIS education ministers’ congress that will open there tomorrow.   

In parallel, the 20th session of the CIS council for education cooperation will be held in Yerevan.

Noilsho Nouraliyev, a spokesman for the Ministry of Education (MoE), the CIS education ministers’ congress will consider issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation among the CIS states in the field of education, improvement of teaching of mathematics and natural disciplines, as well as activity of work of the commission for inspecting functioning of branches of higher educational institutions within the CIS area.    

The congress is also expected to discuss the issue of establishment of International Institute of Languages of the SIC States at Moscow Linguistic University.
