Tajik national caught in Russia with around 7 kilos of heroin

DUSAHNBE, October 18, Asia-Plus – Police in Kazan, the capital of the Russian Volga republic of Tatarstan, have confiscated more than 6.8 kg of heroin from a Tajik national, a local police source said on Thursday, According to Russia’s RIA Novosti.

“On searching him, police found heroin. Also, drugs were found in a flat he rented. A total of over 6.8 kg of heroin was confiscated,” the source told RIA Novosti.

Police are now establishing the origin of the drugs and its potential buyer.
