DUSHANBE, October 17, Asia-Plus — Under agreements with economic entities from the Russian Federation and Belarus the Committee for Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism was supposed to send some 1000 people to the mentioned countries for seasonal work.
However, the committee has to date received applications from employers for only 354 persons, Kabir Jurayev, the first deputy chairman of the Committee for Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism, said.
“Besides, we have not been able to send 300 labor migrants to Russia under another agreement,” said he, “We failed to fulfill our obligations because our request for purchasing tickets for labor migrants was not satisfied” As a result of this, 300 persons have lost good earnings, Jurayev said.
