The volume of cash in circulation in Tajikistan rose 5.7 percent in six months to June 30, 2018, reaching 12.3 billion somoni, according to the National bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
Over the first six months of this year, more than 2.3 billion somoni have been put into circulation in Tajikistan, an official source at the NBT told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, the volume of reserve money has risen 1.2 percent in six months to June 30, 2018, reaching 14.7 billion somoni.
