DUSHANBE, October 3, Asia-Plus  — Visiting CIS Executive Secretary Vladimir Rushailo is handing over a bulk of books, totaling 9,000 books, to the National Firdavsi Library today.

This action is part of the “CIS Humanitarian Space” project, which is being implemented under support of the Russian Federation.   

These books, including works by known Russian writers, works by writers from different CIS states translated into Russia, as well as textbooks and scientific literature, will be distributed to all public libraries across Tajikistan. 

According to the CIS Executive Committee, such collections have already been handed over to libraries in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova and Kazakhstan.
