India will provide Tajikistan with $ 20 million in donations for development projects identified by the two parties.

The President of India, Sri Ram Nath Kovind, said this after a meeting with the head of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, the press service of the head of state reports.

The President of Tajikistan thanked Nath Kovinda for this assistance. The presidents also spoke in favor of increasing bilateral trade, investing and developing economic activity, taking into account the potential of the two countries. 

In this regard, were identified as important development of the necessary transport mechanisms, in particular, it was about the international corridor North-South, which will reduce the time and transportation of goods between India, Central Asia and the CIS. 

The head of Tajikistan, in turn, called on Indian entrepreneurs to invest in the fields of industry and agriculture, manufacturing technologies, electronic equipment, pharmaceuticals and biotechnologies, etc. He also proposed to consider the possibility of investing in SES.

Ram Nath Kovind invited Emomali Rahmon to visit India with a return visit.
