A government session, presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, took place in Dushanbe on October 30.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, the meeting reviewed the results of work carried out over the first nine months this year.
The Minister of Finance, Fayziddin Qahhorzoda, reported on the draft law on the national budget for 2019 and the national budget projected figures for 2020-2021.
The head of the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of Tajikistan, Numon Abdughafforzoda, reported on the draft law on craftsmanship.
The draft law was reportedly worked out for the purpose of preserving and developing the cultural heritage and historical traditions of the art of craftsmanship.
Emomali Rahmon ordered to establish folk craft centers in cities and district administrative centers for the purpose of developing craftsmanship in the country.
The head of state also ordered to take measures to revive national traditions, develop small and medium-sized enterprises, and establish healthy lifestyle.
The government members also discussed preparations for celebration of the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence that will take place in 2021.
Besides, they discussed government’s draft regulations on Tajikistan’s commercial missions in foreign countries, the national program on development and application of information and communications technologies designed for 2018-2020 and the national food security program designed for 2019-2023.
