Speaking at an enlarged government session, President Emomali Rahmon yesterday harshly criticized improper activities of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (MoINT) and the Tajik Aluminum Company (TALCO).
The head of state ordered the Minister of Industry and New Technologies Shavkat Bobozoda to review training programs with taking into consideration real demands of the country’s labor market in order to provide the industrial sector with skilled specialists.
Rahmon gave Bobozoda six months to remove the existing shortcomings and submit the report for consideration to the government, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Emomali Rahmon also expressed concern about decrease in aluminum production. Aluminum production last year fell 7.1 percent compared to 2017 and nearly three times compared to 2012, the head of state stressed.
