Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali has signed a decree n setting up a group to instill city dweller’s ethics in residents of the Tajik capital.

The group that will consist of representatives of the Dushanbe administration and members of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) will be led by Deputy Mayor, Ms. Mavsouma Muini, an official source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office told Asia-Plus in an interview.

According to him, the group members will be engaged in propagating national values and respect for national dress and national culture.

Besides, the group will be engaged in addressing terrorism and extremism threats, combating drug trafficking, etc. 

Recall, a similar group that was set up in February last year completed its work in December 2018.
