DUSHANBE, September 13, Asia-Plus — Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived in Dushanbe yesterday afternoon, and today, he is holding talks with high-ranking Tajik state officials.  

At first Nazarbayev will hold talks with his Tajik counterpart, President Emomali Rahmon, and after that an enlarged meeting with participation of delegations of the two countries will be held.  The sides are expected to consider prospects of further expansion of bilateral political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.

A business forum with participation of Tajik and Kazakh entrepreneurs will open in the old building of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) tomorrow, at 3:00 pm.

In the evening, President Nazarbayev is scheduled to meet with students and lecturers from Tajik National University at the Center for Strategic Studies.  After that, he will hold talks with the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Chairman Saydullo Khairulloyev.
