The Government has ordered to write off tax debts and fines a total of more than 14.2 million somoni (equivalent to more than 1.5 million U.S. dollars) of eleven companies and three individual entrepreneurs.

The government signed a decree on writing off bad tax debts and fines on March 1, 2019.  The tax debts and fines that have accrued until January 1, 2011 are considered the bad ones.   

The decree provides for writing off more than 6.1 million somoni of tax debts and more than 8.1 million of fines and interest on fines.  

Tax debts and fines of the following companies and private entrepreneurs will be written off:  

 

  • State Enterprise (SE) Istifodabarii Manzil (Khujand, Sughd province);
  • Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) Filiz (Isfara, Sughd province);
  • OJSC Tamokubarori Dushanbe (Dushanbe);  
  • Unitary Enterprise (UE) Repair and Construction Directorate (Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district);
  • Faroiz Limited Liability Company (LTD)
  • Nourafshon LTD;
  • Sabr LTD;
  • Al-Bukhori LTD;
  • Iftikhor 2009 LTD;
  • Tavrida LTD;
  • Abdulaziz Abdulmaqsoud (private entrepreneur);
  • Narzullojon Mulloboyev (private entrepreneur);
  • Abdujalol Hojiboyev (private entrepreneur).
