Forty-one countries of the world have provided 21,687.5 million U.S. dollars’ worth of 6,631.5 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan over the first five months of this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the report period, among donors countries the greatest share reportedly came from Russia – 53.3 percent; Switzerland – 13.1 percent; China – 8.2 percent; Japan – 3.4 percent; India – 3.3 percent; Denmark – 2.4 percent; Belgium – 1.9 percent; South Korea – 1.8 percent; Germany – 1.6 percent; Finland and Italy – 1.5 percent each; the United States – 1.4 percent; Lithuania – 1.2 percent; the Netherlands – 1.0 percent;   and others.
