DUSHANBE, August 22, Asia-plus – A Tajik delegation led by PM Oqil Oqilov is leaving today for Kazakhstan, where Days of Tajik Culture will be held from August 23-28, according to the Ministry of Culture (MoC).

The source at a MoC said the delegation members include Culture Minister Mirzoshorukh Asrori, artistes of the Opera and Ballet Theatre, dancing ensembles Lola, Gulrez, Padida and know Tajik variety singers, totaling 76 people.  

Exhibition of works by Tajik painters and fair of farm produce will be held in the Kazakh capital as part of the event.

PM Oqil Oqilov and his Kazakh counterpart, Premier Karim Masimov, will address an inaugurating ceremony that will be held in Astana tomorrow.  

100 tons of grapes, 100 tons of melons, 80 tons of watermelons, 25 tons of dried fruits, as well as more than 25 tons tomatoes, carrots, onions, and gourds, some 23 tons of apples and pears and 3 tons of honey will be put on display at fairs.  

Besides, a business forum with participation of entrepreneurs of the two countries will be held on sidelines of the event.
