Qatar intends to organize import of honey, meat and drinking water from Tajikistan.  Al Sulaiteen Group of Industrial and Agricultural Companies will be engaged in delivering Tajik honey, meat and drinking water to Qatar.  

According to the Tajik MFA information department, Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Qatar Khisrav Sohibzoda on July 16 met in Doha with Abdullah Salem Al Sulaiteen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sulaiteen Group. 

In the courses of the talks, they reportedly discussed the results of visit of the Al Sulaiteen Group’s delegation to Tajikistan that took place on July 8-12 this year.  

Taking into account Tajikistan’s enormous potential, the Qatar side expressed interest in importing honey, meat and drinking water from Tajikistan and the Al-Sulaiteen Group intends to implement joint investment projects in these areas, the Tajik MFA information department said. 

The two sides reportedly also exchanged views on ways and mechanisms of establishing the mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing joint projects discussed in Dushanbe.

According to information posted on Al-Sulaiteen Group’s website, Mr. Abdullah Salem Al Sulaiteen started his business operations in Doha, Qatar in 1975 and currently representing the business community under the umbrella of Al Sulaiteen Group of Companies.

Mr. Abdullah Al Sulaiteen over the span of 39 years’ experience has initially started with a Computer Shop which now has been developed into a successful international computer brand representative with a substantial business volume in Qatar.  With the success of business and keeping the development of opportunities in Qatar he expanded the business into various lines with starting company keeping the dire need of agriculture and landscaping business operations in Qatar and later on he also invested into industrial sector ventures.
