In the draft law of Tajikistan “On the state budget for 2020”, the development of which has entered its final stage, it is predicted that next year the foreign trade turnover of the republic will be 4 billion 836 million US dollars.

This was reported in the economic bloc of the government.

At the same time, the source noted that according to forecasts of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, the foreign trade turnover of the republic in 2021 will be more than 5 billion dollars, and in 2022 this figure will be 5.3 billion dollars.

The developers of the draft state budget of the country predict that the volume of Tajikistan’s exports in 2020 will be about $ 1.3 billion, imports – $ 3.5 billion.

Tajikistan's foreign trade turnover for six months of 2019 amounted to $ 2 billion 136.9 million (an increase of 3.8%), including export amounted to $ 570.6 million, import – $ 1 billion 566.3 million (an increase of 2.3%).
