Rohsoz-7 Company has been competitively selected to rehabilitate the highway from Dushanbe’s Korvon market to the South Gate of Dushanbe.

The cost of the project is 2.86 million U.S. dollars, and the rehabilitation work is expected to be completed in 180 days, according to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Tajikistan Resident Mission (TJRM).

Rehabilitation of this 1.85-kilometer road is carried out in the framework of the Dushanbe-Bokhtar Highway Rehabilitation Project, which is financed by the Asian Development bank and c-financed by the OPEC Fund for International Development.

ADB approved phase 1 of the Dushanbe-Bokhtar road rehabilitation project in November 2016 to improve connectivity between the two major cities and economic hubs in Tajikistan and enhance the safety of the country's highway network.  The second phase of the project was approved in March 2018.  ADB's total financing for the project amounts to $157 million, including around $108 million in grants. The

OPEC Fund for International Development provided a $12 million co-financing loan.

The rehabilitation of the Dushanbe-Bokhtar road is planned to be completed in October 2021.
