Central Asia’s largest poultry farm is being built in Danghara, hometown of President Emomali Rahmon.

The poultry farm, which is being built by Avesto Group in the Sebiston jamoat, is expected to be introduction into operation in March, by Navrouz festival, which is celebrated on March 21, or in June, by National unity Day, which is celebrated in Tajikistan on June 27.

Avesto Group’s website says the poultry farm will consist of 26 workshops and it will be capable to produce up to 5,500 tons of chicken meat per year.  The poultry farm will have 26,000 head of chickens. 

According to information posted on the company’s website, Avesto Group is diversified group of companies operating in various sectors of the country's economy.  To-date, the company has reportedly implemented more than 15 projects in the fields of services and production.  Avesto Group plans to implement nine large projects in the medium term.
