Police in Dushanbe burned 1,126.95 kilograms of narcotic drugs on August 12, according to the Interior Ministry press center. Police in Dushanbe burned 1,126.95 kilograms of narcotic drugs on August 12, according to the Interior Ministry press center.

A totaled reportedly included 34.390 kilograms of heroin, 214.563 kilograms of raw opium, 605.483 kilograms of cannabis, 272.504 kilograms of hashish and other types of drugs.

Besides, 216 grams of amphetamine, 1.071 kilograms of methamphetamine, nearly 2 kilograms of methadone and 1.127 kilograms of alprazolam were destroyed by police on August 12.

The destroyed drugs were reportedly confiscated in the course of 2020-2021 and on which the court decision came into legal force.
