DUSHANBE, December 22, Asia-Plus – Chinese Embassy in Dushanbe has donated US$10,000 worth of sports goods to Tajikistan’s National Olympic Committee (NOC).  

According the Chinese embassy, the donation was made as part of a memorandum on sports cooperation between the two countries that was signed in Dushanbe in the summer 2006.  

Farid Solehov, a spokesman for Tajik NOC, told Asia-Plus that the donation included football, basketball and volleyball balls, table tennis kits and other sports goods.
