Italian deputy foreign minister arrives in Dushanbe on April 2

DUSHANBE, March 30, Asia-Plus  — Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Alfredo Mantika is expected to arrive in Dushanbe on April 2 for a working visit, according to the MFA information department.

During his stay in Dushanbe, Italian official is scheduled to hold talks with President Emomali Rahmon, Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov and Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi.

The sides will consider issues related to state and prospects of expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Italy as well as the present situation in the region, including Afghanistan, the information department said.
