The volume of supplies of petroleum products increased by 27%, and the import value – by 80%.
Import of oil products to Tajikistan for seven months of this year amounted to over 411 thousand tons, which is almost 27% more than in the same period in 2021, the statistical office of the republic reports.
It is noted that the import of oil products in value increased by 80%, the above volume cost Tajik suppliers $338.5 million.
The share of oil products in the total volume of imports of Tajikistan in January-July this year increased to 12.2%. In the corresponding period of 2021 it was 8.5%.
According to the antimonopoly department of the republic, about 90% of oil products are imported from Russia. About 6% of these products were purchased in Kazakhstan, and a relatively small part in Uzbekistan, Belarus, Azerbaijan.
The main supplier of oil products to Tajikistan is OJSC Gazpromneft-Tajikistan, which accounts for about half of the total fuel imports.
