Small and medium women-run artisan businesses-owners from Tajikistan participated in the Creativeworld consumer goods fair that took place in the German city of in Frankfurt from February 4 to February 7.

Designers, female artisans, representatives of art academies from more than 160 countries of the world reportedly participated in this fair.  

This year, ten talented female artisans from Central Asia participated in the Creativeworld consumer goods fair putting on display their exclusive handcrafted works.  

Their participation in the exhibition was supported by USAID’s Trade Central Asia and the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), which is a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce. 

Limited Liability Company Dehai Gulzar and Munir Brand represented Tajikistan at the Creativeworld consumer goods fair in Frankfurt. 

As part of the exhibition, CLDP partnered with USAID’s Trade Central Asia activity and the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage reportedly conduct a workshop on marketing strategies and trade fair best practices for a group of 10 small and medium women-run artisan businesses-owners from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. 

Creativeworld is the world's largest trade fair for hobby, crafts and artists’ requisites, which unites the most important DIY (do it yourself) industry manufacturers from all over the world.
