KULOB, August 29, Asia-Plus — A prosecutor’s office in the Vose district has instituted criminal proceedings against a 20-year-old resident of the village of Khonaqo of Khovaling, Marjona Nazarova, who is charged with killing her newly-born baby.
The source in the Vose prosecutor’s office says that unmarried Nazarova arrived in the village of Fayzobod in Vose in order to bear baby at home of her relative Arafamo Bozorova. “Then the women throw on the newborn to the street,” the Asia-Plus interlocutor said.
If convicted, Marjona Nazarova could face five years in prison.
