An additional $5.6 million will be allocated for the construction of buildings of a number of state institutions in Tajikistan

The Government of Tajikistan has instructed the Ministry of Finance to allocate 61 million somoni ($5.6 million) for the construction of buildings of a number of government departments and institutions.

This is stated in the government decree published on the legal information portal on August 2 of this year.

In particular, it is planned to allocate 5 million somoni each for the construction of buildings of the Supreme Court, the Ministry of Justice, 15 million somoni – the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, 30 million somoni – Khatlon State Medical University in Dangara district, 6 million somoni – hotels in Dangara district.

It is additional financing of these facilities, which are already being built in the capital and the Dangara district.

These funds are provided by the State Institution "Directorate for the Construction of Government Facilities" of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (customer) from the Stabilization Fund for Economic Development.

This Fund is replenished annually due to the over fulfilling of the revenues of the republican and local budgets and, if necessary, are directed to the fulfillment of certain government orders.

It should be noted that over the last decade in the republic there has been a full-scale construction of new administrative buildings of ministries, departments and institutions.

Many such facilities have been erected and have already been put into operation, others, including those listed above, are under construction.
