In the first half of the year, the foreign trade turnover between Tajikistan and Germany amounted to $93.9 million, an increase of $50 million or 2.1 times compared to the same period last year.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the republic, this was discussed at the meeting of Minister Zavki Zavkizoda with a delegation of German investors headed by Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Michael Harms. The meeting was held on September 4 in Dushanbe.

The parties noted the potential for further increase in the volume of foreign trade turnover. Zavki Zavkizoda offered German investors financing of sectors of the national economy, in particular industry and energy.

It should be noted that according to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, the delegation arrived to participate in the investment forum "Tajikistan-Germany", which started today, September 5, in Dushanbe.
