DUSHANBE, March 19, 2009, Asia-Plus  — On occasion of the Navrouz festival that is marked on March 21 the Uzbek Embassy in Dushanbe has provided humanitarian assistance to boarding school for blind and partially sighted children # 56 in Dushanbe.

According to the Uzbek Embassy, which has patronized this boarding school for already two year, the assistance included food products (wheat flour, macaronis and confectioneries) as well as two baking cabinets.

Festive concert with participation of pupils of the boarding school was held.  Uzbek diplomats and children’s parents also took part in the festive activities, the source said.
