An international universal exhibition-fair, dubbed Tajikistan-2024, kicked off at Dushanbe’s EXPO Center on October 24.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan (CCI), which is an organizer of this exhibition, says more than 100 companies from Tajikistan, Belarus, China, Iran, Pakistan, Russia, Uzbekistan and some other countries are participating in this exhibition.
They have put on display their achievements in food industry, agriculture, medicine, production of building materials and cosmetics at the fair that will run through October 26.
Thus, developers and manufacturers from Pakistan have presented dental equipment, surgical instruments, prosthetics, laboratory and diagnostic equipment, pharmaceuticals, and skincare products. Additionally, major Pakistani rice producers will demonstrate various types of rice.
Representatives from Iranian companies have showcased fire safety equipment and alarms, building materials, food additives, cosmetics, veterinary products and vaccines, as well as food and beverages.
The Ministry of Education of Belarus has showcased its services in education, training, and retraining of specialists in various fields of science and technology, including metallurgy, mechanical engineering, construction, agriculture, electronics, energy, software development, robotics, medicine, pharmaceuticals, ecology, and other areas.
Russian companies have displayed their developments in mounted and trailer agricultural machinery, plastic products, coniferous plant extracts for medicinal drinks, and oral care products.
In addition to exhibitors, delegations from Russia, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Africa, and Hungary are attending the exhibition to establish business contacts and seek partnerships.
The CCI press center says the main purpose of the exhibition is to promote goods of domestic producers and help them establish and expand cooperation with foreign companies.
