Muayassara Mavloni, Deputy Head of the Women and Family Affairs Department in Sughd, noted that in 2025, 39 women from the region were also awarded presidential grants for their submitted projects.

As part of a new initiative by the regional head, starting in 2026, the total amount of the grants will be increased from 420,000 somonis to 560,000 somonis, and grants will be distributed to 80 women.

Introduced in 2010, the Sughd regional grants have supported women artisans for over 15 years, contributing to the development of traditional crafts and the creation of new jobs.
