“Poitakht-80”.  A “gushtingiri” (Tajik national wrestling) contest will be held at the “

” Stadium.  

On March 22, festive events, concerts and outdoor parties, will be held in the city’s microrayons.  

The mayoral spokesman noted that microrayons had received 1,500 Somonis each and “mahallas” (communities) had received 1,200 Somonis each for holding these events.  

Participants at the meeting also considered the issue of pulling down the marketplace “Rohi Abreshim” (

Silk Road

) in


Dushanbe


.  The mayor ordered the relevant structures to discuss with the marketplace’s top managers issues of formation of prices, and prices of rent of shops for merchants that were still working on the marketplace in order to avoid hurting of their rights.
