www.ndpt.tj

— today.

The PDPT first deputy chairman, Davlatali Davlatov, has told Asia-Plus the their site will contain information about history of the establishment of the party, its Rules, program documents as well as post materials from their official newspaper “Minbari Khalq”.  According to him, at first the site will contain materials in the Tajik language but in near future they will launch a page in the Russian language as well.    

Mr. Davlatov says they also will upgrade electronic communication of the party’s central apparatus with its regional, city and district organizations today. 

The People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan was established in 1994.  Its chairman is President Emomali Rahmonov.  The PDPT has a 73-percent majority in the Majlisi Namoyandagon (

’s lower chamber of parliament) – 46 of 63 seats.  It is the largest political party in

now, boasting more than 100,000 registered members.   

To date, three other political parties of

such as the Social-Democratic Party, Islamic Revival Party and Democratic Party have also launched their websites.
