Ms. Aliberdiyeva also noted that increasing number of divorces evoked serious concern.  “Last year, for example, 2900 divorces were registered in


Tajikistan


, which is 300 cases more compared to the previous year.” 

Commenting on the labor migration issues, the Committee chairperson noted that of 436,000 Tajik labor migrants working abroad, 9,000 were women.
