DUSHANBE, November 11, 2010, Asia-Plus  — We are glad a large delegation of Tajik intelligentsia and artistes representing a rich cultural heritage of our Tajik brothers came to visit independent and neutral Turkmenistan, a message of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov to the participants of Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan says, according to Turkmen media.

In his message, Turkmen leader notes that political and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan is harmonically developing.  “We consider Tajikistan one of the most reliable partners, with which we have laid down prospects of close and fruitful cooperation in all areas,” the message said.

We will recall that Days of Culture of Tajikistan in Turkmenistan started in Ashgabat yesterday evening.  Tajik delegation members include Minister of Culture Mirzoshorukh Asrori, Tajik known singers Saidqul Bilolov, Rustam Duloyev, Ozodamo Muhtaramova, Fayzali Hasanov, Isroil Fayziddinov, Bakhtiyor Ibrohimov, actors of the Tajik Drama Theatre  named after Abulqosim Lohuti, dance ensembles Lola and Gulrez, etc.

Actors of the Lohuti Theatre will show performance “Keklik v Kletke” (Partridge in Cage), based on the play by known Tajik/Russian poet, playwright, and novelist Temur Zulfiqorov.

Exhibitions of precious and semi-precious stones and works by Tajik photographer Shuhrat Yorov will be organized on the sidelines of Days of Culture of Tajikistan that will run through November 14.
